Why Does It Go Wrong at “Blessing”?

— The Second Point Where Neville Goddard’s Reality Creation Breaks

Many people believe they have forgiven the past.

They no longer replay the event.

They no longer feel as reactive.

Yet reality still does not move.

So they say,

“I’ll try to bless the situation.”

“I’ll wish them well.”

“I’ll send positive thoughts.”

This is where the process breaks again.

When Blessing Is Mistaken for Kindness

Most people understand blessing as an emotional act.

Feeling goodwill

Being morally generous

Trying to soften the heart

When the feeling does not come,

they assume they failed.

But Neville Goddard never defined blessing as kindness.

In his structure,

blessing is not an emotion.

It is a relocation of authority.

What Blessing Actually Is

Blessing means this:

The current condition no longer has the right

to define reality.

It is not about liking the situation.

It is not about approving what happened.

Blessing is the decision to treat a condition

as already resolved,

even if nothing appears changed.

No emotional warmth is required.

Only positional clarity.

Why Blessing Comes After Forgiveness

Forgiveness removes the past from power.

But after the past is released,

reality still sits in neutral.

Blessing is what reassigns reality forward.

Forgiveness clears authority

Blessing redirects authority

That is why the order matters:

Forgiveness → Blessing

Without blessing,

reality remains undecided.

Why People Slip at This Stage

Most people resist blessing for a simple reason:

Blessing feels like losing leverage.

“If I bless this, I lose my position.”

“If I bless them, I accept the imbalance.”

“If I bless now, nothing forces change.”

But blessing is not concession.

Blessing is stepping out of the argument entirely.

When there is no argument,

reality no longer needs to defend itself.

Blessing Is Not for Others

This is critical.

Blessing is not done to someone else.

It is done to your position.

It moves you from:

reacting to conditions to

standing in resolution

From that position,

conditions reorganize on their own.

Why Imagination Fails Without Blessing

Imagination without blessing feels unstable.

The mind tries to enter the end,

but keeps checking the present.

Why?

Because reality has not yet been placed

on the “resolved” side.

Blessing performs that placement.

Only then does imagination become quiet.

The Role of This Article

This article explains why blessing is the second gate

in the forgiveness–blessing–imagination structure.

Blessing is not emotional work.

It is jurisdictional movement.

Once that movement happens,

the final step becomes available.
