Why Do You Always End Up Drained in Relationships?

 Relationships don’t fail

because love is missing.

They fail because

you abandon your position first.

People who seem “easy to be with”

often over-adjust.

They tolerate.

They understand.

They wait.

And slowly,

they empty themselves.

This isn’t love.

It’s buying safety.

Fear of conflict.

Fear of being left.

Fear of standing alone.

So they give up their place.

If relationships keep repeating the same pain,

it’s not the people.

It’s the starting position.

Relationships shift

not when the other person changes,

but when this question disappears:

“Is it okay if I’m like this?”

“Should I just endure?”

When that question fades,

boundaries appear.

Breathing returns.

And relationships soften.
